Realising its social responsibility of making 
people aware of the evils of tobacco use, Bharat Vikas Parishad-Gharaunda, distributed 2000 leaflets in the town on anti tobacco day.
The matter was an effort to spread awareness about ill effects of tobacco use, illnesses that tobacco can induce(with special attention to Cancer), harms of passive smoking and the quantum of money spent on buying cancer in tobacco form.
Parishad Branch is committed to eradicate this type of bad practices from society and anti-tobacco day of 31st day was a perfect occasion to kick-start the campaign.
